Skills for a future world |
|
As artificial intelligence, biotechnology and robotics advance, so are the ways we live, learn and work being transformed. Some jobs are disappearing or being changed beyond recognition. Others that will be crucial cannot even be described today. These changes will affect the young people served by HKFYG most significantly. They need to be ready.
The aims behind the new Future Skills programme at HKFYG are to introduce these skills and modes of thinking to young people. The skills involve concepts such as the process of computational thinking, the cross-cultural competencies needed to survive in a globalized world and the media literacy needed to keep up with change.
HKFYG Summer School for Future Skills is happening from 17 July - 4 August.
