Media literacy: vital skills
Nearly 30% of Hong Kong secondary students think you can do whatever you like online. Over a third also believe that all online information is free for re-use. Does that worry you like it worries us?

At the Federation we think that young people should be a lot wiser than this, so the HKFYG Media Counselling Centre Be NetWise project has designed lessons in media literacy for schools. They equip youth with skills for safe access, accurate analysis and careful evaluation of media, especially online. Parents and teachers are included in the training and feedback is very positive.

Coming up for 2018-2020: Project Net For both primary and secondary schools
Goal Enhancing and extending critical thinking online
