Chief Executive in dialogue: Policy Online@M21
Policy Address Online@M21
Mrs Carrie Lam met about 260 secondary students at a Federation forum earlier this month. She confirmed that young people's voices will be heard at senior levels in future, via recruits to a new unit reporting directly to her and helping with policy research, analysis and project co-ordination.

Explaining her 2017 Policy Address to youngsters on a live webcast, Mrs Lam said she and her political team will visit schools frequently and gauge young people's aspirations. Pressing topics including education, career development and home ownership will be discussed. Asked how she would "connect" with young people amid simmering political tension, she said her bottom line was the rule of law, "Hong Kong's greatest core value" and said the courts were an "absolutely independent" judicial system.

Policy Online@M21 was the first of a series of dialogue sessions at HKFYG
