Turning Point Youth Improvement Awards 2017
What happens when you don't make the right choices in life? Do you give up? Or, with determination and courage, do you overcome your problems and make a concerted effort to move forward positively? Eight young people have done just that and have been recognized for their efforts.

Last Saturday, the Turning Point Youth Improvement Awards 2017 honoured eight young people who overcame problems with drugs, theft or being involved with triads. They were joined by more than 200 people, including district leaders, school principals, police representative, professionals and parents. The winners' stories have been published, with Lions Club sponsorship, so that other young people can learn from these experiences and put themselves on the right path.
