More blessed to give than to receive
Many hundreds of thousands of kilos of rice have been delivered through the HKFYG Neighbourhood First Rice Giving Scheme since it began in 2010. Thousands of volunteers have been involved, and hundreds more will join their numbers this year. "I didn't realize that some people in Hong Kong lack even the bare necessities," said one volunteer.
