Social Innovation Challenge
Social Innovation Challenge 2016
Social innovation is all about finding a solution to a social problem that can be effective, efficient and sustainable in the long term, thus creating value to society. The four winning startups in the Social Innovation Challenge co-organized by the Federation and the Hong Kong Academy of International Administration, cover healthcare, employment and elderly care.

acesobee, the Champion, offers a comprehensive, cross-border electronic healthcare platform that facilitates access to personal health records among all stakeholders. 1st runner-up, Medexo Robotics focuses on affordable, multipurpose exoskeleton devices which give vital mobility to Parkinson's disease patients. 2nd runner-up is Genie, whose mobile app offers fast, efficient, job advertising and hiring. And the audience's favourite was Longevity Design House, a remodelling service which creates more liveable home environments for seniors.

These companies can change not only the way we live, but also the way society can evolve. They are the future! Congratulations to all the winners!
